Urgent requirement: pipe TIG welder (Georgia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Pickens County, Georgia. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day-to-day duties: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Part-time with flexible hours.
