Urgent requirement: vertical transportation technician (Michigan)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Shiawassee County, Michigan. The role involves rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Full-time with occasional weekends.
