Industrial sewing operator wanted in Montgomery County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Montgomery County, Kentucky. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
