Mosaic tiler wanted in Carteret County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mosaic tiler in Carteret County, North Carolina. You will work on a new-build housing development. Day to day you will apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles. Requirements: • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
