Blocklayer — Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area

Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Rivers State. The job is on a commercial construction site. On a typical shift you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
