Now hiring: concrete shuttering carpenter (Tennessee)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Washington County, Tennessee. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. The role involves seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement. You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking 5+ years on the tools preferred.
