Framing carpenter wanted in Nemaha County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Nemaha County, Kansas. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. On a typical shift you will hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish. Ideal candidate: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent 2+ years on the tools preferred.
