Great opportunity: offshore rigger (Virginia)

Join our team: we are hiring an offshore rigger in City of Franklin, Virginia. The job is at a power plant. Day-to-day duties: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
