Requirements: • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic The role involves: • Road-test vehicles to confirm the repair • Replace clutch plates and gearbox components • Diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool • Carry out oil and filter changes • Service and replace timing belts and chains • Trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
