Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Fayette County, Alabama. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg 2+ years on the tools preferred. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
