Fire and safety officer wanted in Yankwashi

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Yankwashi, Jigawa State. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot On a typical shift you will inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
