We are recruiting: stainless steel welder (Pennsylvania)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Elk County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Day to day you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
