Lift mechanic • McLennan County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift mechanic in McLennan County, Texas. You will work on a lift modernisation project. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Your main tasks: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork We offer $160 per day plus benefits.
