Commercial tyre fitter — Chase County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a commercial tyre fitter in Chase County, Kansas. The job is in a fast-fit workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres You should have: • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets Full-time, day shift.
