Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Cayuga County, New York. You will be based on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
