You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals The role involves carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio.
