Urgent requirement: excavator operator (North Carolina)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in Alamance County, North Carolina. You will work in an open-cast mine. On the job you will handle: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels Ideal candidate: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster 6+ years on the tools preferred.
