Production welder — Iron County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a production welder in Iron County, Wisconsin. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Willing to work shifts and overtime On a typical shift you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc.
