Now hiring: we are hiring a cabinet maker in Ringgold County, Iowa. Day-to-day duties: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles What we are looking for: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $8,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
