Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Duval County, Florida. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Your main tasks: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
