Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances On the job you will handle: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
