Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Calumet County, Wisconsin. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination The role involves clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
