Requirements: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Rotating shifts. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
