Frame straightening technician — Otsego County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a frame straightening technician in Otsego County, New York. You will work at an accident repair garage. You should have: • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) Day-to-day duties: • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
