Immediate opening: groundskeeper (Louisiana)

Join our team: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. On a typical shift you will maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
