Elevator repair technician — Elliott County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Elliott County, Kentucky. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. Day to day you will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Part-time with flexible hours.
