Great opportunity: MIG/MAG welder (Nevada)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Esmeralda County, Nevada. You will be based at an automobile body shop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead 6+ years on the tools preferred.
