Immediate opening: steel fixer (Ekiti State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in Ido-Osi, Ekiti State. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. You will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Rotating shifts.
