We are recruiting: groundworker (Kentucky)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundworker in Greenup County, Kentucky. You will be based on a residential housing site. Day-to-day duties: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns What we are looking for: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Meals and transport allowance provided.
