Immediate opening: short order cook (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a short order cook in Live Oak County, Texas. The job is at a roadside dhaba. On a typical shift you will manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays Part-time with flexible hours.
