Elevator service technician • Dubois County, Indiana

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Dubois County, Indiana. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. The role involves: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
