Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Christian County, Missouri. On a typical shift you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Full-time, day shift. $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
