Vacancy available: we are hiring a civil works labourer in DeKalb County, Indiana. The job is on a building construction site. Your main tasks: • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site What we are looking for: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
