Vacancy available: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Schuyler County, Illinois. You will work at a paint and panel shop. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop On a typical shift you will straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
