Framing carpenter • Onslow County, North Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Onslow County, North Carolina. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. The role involves cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board. What we are looking for: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
