Formwork carpenter — Amherst County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Amherst County, Virginia. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. Day to day you will check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters. What we are looking for: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
