Great opportunity: we are hiring a steam press operator in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. On the job you will handle: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
