Now hiring: we are hiring a garment machinist in Oju, Benue State. The job is at a busy garment factory. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Your main tasks: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Full-time, day shift.
