UPVC door and window fabricator wanted in Colbert County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Colbert County, Alabama. You will be based on site fitting windows in new-build flats. The role involves take site measurements of openings before fabrication; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter. Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours.
