Vacancy available: we are hiring a laundry presser in Big Stone County, Minnesota. The job is in a busy laundry. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Your main tasks: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics Performance bonus on top of base pay.
