Great opportunity: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Montgomery County, New York. What we are looking for: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects On a typical shift you will inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; degrease and clean metal parts before coating; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun.
