Gtaw welder — Kennebec County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Kennebec County, Maine. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day-to-day duties: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
