Immediate opening: we are hiring a retail butcher in Woodbury County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. The role involves: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts What we are looking for: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Rotating shifts.
