Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Loup County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Loup County, Nebraska. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Full-time, day shift.
