Great opportunity: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Grand Traverse County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading Ideal candidate: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Valid digital tachograph card A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
