Now hiring: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Carter County, Montana. You will be based in a garment export house. You will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; give each garment a final press before packing; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
