Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Auyo, Jigawa State. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
