Join our team: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. You will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
