We are recruiting: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Spencer County, Indiana. The job is at a double glazing firm. You should have: • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Day-to-day duties: • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
