Trowel-trade bricklayer • Lane County, Kansas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Lane County, Kansas. The job is on a new-build development. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Your main tasks: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Performance bonus on top of base pay.
